My iPad is locked up on iCloud Backup

Reset it by holding the power and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then releasing. You won't lose any data by doing this.

This post if getting old, but I was referred to it. This works! My wife's iPad had this problem and she was very concerned. Looks like lots of other folks have seen this lockup. Must be some kind of bug in the IOS. My wife hadn't upgraded yet to IOS 6, so we did that immediately. Hope we won't see this again.

Thanks for this post! It's a critical bug that Apple should fix immediately as it completely disables the iPad. Not an intuitive way to fix it either, but really glad I found this post!

i did this and now its telling me to plug into itunes? help
