I recently purchased the movie "The Watch" from ITunes. Now when I try to transfer it to my IPod Touch, I receive the error "the movie was not copied because IPod is inable to play...". I thought the Apple Support stated if purchased from ITunes, we would NOT have this issue? Any solutions?

Yes, it is... But I have numerous other HD movies and never have had this problem! The ITunes support states:
Even if you download video podcasts from iTunes, individual video podcast authors usually provide video podcasts, and in some cases, these podcasts may not play on your device. If the podcast is correctly encoded however, it will sync to the device without issue.
i've had the same problem with doctor who episodes... i looked at the same article and it said there shouldn't be any problems. i don't understand...
Same problem! I bought my Daughters' iPod Touch(s) and I just purchased the digital copy of Brave for them - it won't sync to their iPod Touch...
Yet the other movies I have bought - do sync.
