iphone 5: "end call" button sometimes doesnt end call

LifeProof sent me a replacement last week and my LP5 works just fine now. I can end calls with one touch. Thanks LifeProof !!!

I read couple of other forums and people without lifeproof case are experiencing "end call button not working" as welll. You think it's the lifeproof case that is the problem?

Backup to iTunes, Erase all content and data, setup as new phone, do not restore from backup, make test call, then sync to iTunes for music, photos, etc.

I also got a new front cover where they have removed the spacers to improve contact with the toouch screen. End call now works consitently. If you have this problem contact support at Lfeproof, not orders, and you will get a prompt reply.

I realise that this is an old thread, but been having the same problem. Lifeproof are sending a new case. In the mean time, they have advised to do the following:

To fix the proximity sensor on white cases, simply take a black magic marker and draw a circle around the INSIDE of the proximity sensor cut-out. The white of the case interferes with proper functionality of the sensor.
