iTunes Debit Card

Debit cards are not accepted in the US iTunes Store.

You could try adding yours but it probably will not work.

I am not aware of any country in which debit cards accepted as payment for iTunes Store purchases.

I don't know if a non us debit card will work, but I use my debit card. It's attached to my apple I'd. You can use a debit card(visa logo/MasterCard) ect... I am in the us though.

Debit cards were quietly removed from the iTunes Store Terms and Conditions about a year or so ago.

If you have been "flying under the radar" just continue to do as long as you can.

Debit cards can be used as a credit card. It acts as the same. The merchant(apple) runs it as a credit. This depends also on your bank. Yes you can use debit cards with a visa/mastercard logo. Just created an apple ID for my father last week with his debit card.

Visa Debit card is a debit product, so why is there an option to press CREDIT at the terminal?

When you press CREDIT and sign for a purchase, your transaction is routed through the Visa network. This gives you all the security protections of a Visa transaction. But your Visa Debit card still works like a debit card, not a credit card: The purchase amount is deducted from your checking account and you don't pay interest. Here it acts as both.....

At the bottom of our financial institutes page and on visa's is for USA only. I don't know how it works in other countries.
