Sinking Fast!

FCE 3.5 will not reinstall from original disc after manual uninstall.

Error message is: "FinalCutExpress.mpkg won't run because PowerPc applications are no longer supported."

***?

Please, this really shuts me down. Any help out there?

Hi Al -

FCE seems to be working well with Snow Leopard, and I got a lot done today, just to give them and me a little workout. Stable so far, so I am optimistic this will do the trick.

QT is another story, and not even really a problem (yet). V 10.0 (128) is what came with SL. I did buy the Pro upgrade years ago for the QT that came with Tiger, because there were things I wanted to do that I needed it for, don't remember the specifics. I'd do it again if necessary. But I don't want to install a QT product that is too advanced for my brand-new antique OS!

It's definitely a new question. Watch this space...
