GeForce 7800 GT vs GeForce 6600

Hi,
Can anybody tell me how much faster Aperture is on G5 dual-core with the GeForce 7800 GT compared to the standard GeForce 6600 on this machine?

PM G5 dual core 2.3 6600 Mac OS X (10.4.6)

Take a look at the thread labeled "An Open Question for Joe". He got back to us with an answer, however there still isn't any positive news in terms of what and when. Just that he's working on it.

Let us know what you get with your new MBP. I was only able to test with a FW drive. I didn't have the time to download a large library on my friends MBP. It was still much faster than my Quad, but some lag due to the FW 400 only.

My friend only has the 5400 rpm drive on his MBP. Yet working with the photos he already had on his MBP (CR2 from Canon 20D) made me feel like I was working on the VTECH Supercomputer compared to my Quad. Very sad for me, good for my friend.
