If you had bothered to read my post, I said I personally don't give out that information, but would like to know how it's bad. I see your point, but still don't know how with my serial # and email you could get info on me? What kind of info, my name and address? I don't see anyone getting any identity fraud being committed on them from a serial number of a laptop.
