I need drivers for my Samsung ML 2010 that will work with Mountain Lion. When I follow the link you posted it took me to a site that I need to sign up for and that site offers music and games, no printer drivers. I even tried signing up and called the number listed and they said they don;t have printer drivers. Is there some other pathway? Thank you. Liss

It's pretty confusing because things keep popping up that have nothing to do with this. The easiest way I found is to go to softpedia.com. You have to sign up for a free account with them. Once you do that choose the Drivers tab and then type 'samsung mac drivers' in the search bar. I downloaded Samsung Printer Driver 2.2 for Mac OS. Once I got it my iMac wouldn't let me install it because it wasn't from Apple but I finally figure out how to do it...click on the icon while holding down the Control key and you get the option to Open. Now my printer works even better that it did with Lion. Hope that is clear and works for you!

Yes...I am running OSX 10.8.2 also. That's the same message I got. You can either

a. click on the driver icon while holding down the Control key and you will get the option to Open

or

b. you can got to System Preferences and click on Security & Privacy from the top line. Click on the lock at the bottom to make changes. Under the General tab look at Allow applications downloaded from: Change that from Mac App Store or whatever to Anywhere. Click the lock again to save your changes.

Holding down the control key while clicking on the icon is safer as it only allows you to open this one item. Again I hope I'm being clear and that this works for you.

I think I'm not clear on what you are asking. You say you were able to download and install the driver. You shouldn't have to install any softwer as the ML 2010 is a USB printer. If you have it connected by USB to your computer you should see it listed in your Print & Scan dialog box under System Preferences. I'm not sure but you may have to click on the plus sign to add it. I'm not reallly a tekkie, just another Mac user like you. Hope you can get it to work.
