i have just bought the new mac mini, and i want to install windows 8 pro on it, i have an disc with the windws software and a external dvd drive.
im confused over all them who tells about it, beacuse they either download or have windows 7 already installed, i have non of them, so can anybody help me for a newbee?

I have an legal version of windows 8 pro
I have a DVD drive
My question now is just that I don't know if I can transfer the files from the disc to the mac, and if I can use that.
My second question is if I can't transfer the files, do I then need to have the disc in the mac every time I want to open windows 8.
You place the disc in the drive, then in VirtualBox you run the install program, that's it.
Download The VirtualBox Documentation and read it thoroughly, do this before you do anything else.
So I can install windows 8 with the disc, and then I don't need the disc any more?
They only talk about if it is downloaded
After Windows is installed in VirtualBox you can remove the disc, it is not needed unless you have to reinstall.
