My phone was in the middle of ringing and died. So I plugged it in to charge. But the phone won't even register that it's plugged in or show me that it needs to be charged when I touch the button on top. Is it a goner or is there hope?

what is the model ? Did you plugged it from the wall oulet for at least an hour ?
i have had mines plugged up for at least 15 mins and checked it for water damage and all the text was negative
