Hi my iphone 3g's touch screen wont work... I have already restore the phone however it is still unresponsive. Is there anything else that I can do to fix it? Thanks

There isn't a software fix as you have a hardware problem. Take it to an Apple Store and they will usually diagnose the problem and provide a repair cost estimate at no charge.

It could be that the digitizer is damaged (usually only the case if you can see cracks on the digitizer) or that someone tried to replaced a cracked digitizer/LCD, didn't know what they were doing and damaged one of the cables under the LCD/digitizer assembly (probably no reasonably priced repair for this) or water damage (tabs inside of the headphone jack and under the charging connector should be white as red indicates water damage).

One other point. Especially in the case where the phone was dropped, it might just be that a cable connector came loose inside of the phone and the Apple tech who opens the phone for the cost estimate would of course reconnect the cables when closing the phone which might fix the problem at no charge if it was just a loose cable connector.

Apple doesn't open phones for cost estimates. They don't fix phones. They replace them. Out of warranty exchange for a 3GS is $149; doesn't matter what's wrong.

GDGMacguy - You better tell Apple about the new policy. My sister's girlfriend had a flaky digitizer on her 3GS and took it to the local Genius Bar 2 weeks ago and they opened the phone and made sure the connectors were tight. They told her they could replace the screen if the problem persisted.
