I upgraded my FCPX to 10.0.6 and found that my share option was missing and i could no longer publish to youtube. then i found an advice asking me to use this link http://www.digitalrebellion.com/fcsremover/ to remove the compressor and reinstall...but

I upgraded my FCPX to 10.0.6 and found that my share option was missing and i could no longer publish to youtube. then i found an advice asking me to use this link http://www.digitalrebellion.com/fcsremover/ to remove the compressor and reinstall...but now i cannot download from my old purchase option. download error at 233 MB

Hover your curser over the file in Spotlight to see what the path to the location is.

it just goes to the purchase download page and the error message comes

Hi Russ, it's 3:30 am here. I will appreciate if there is any way I can remove the corrupt download and redo the whole process. I shall go to sleep now and hopefully when I wake up, i might have a pleasant surprise 🙂 Thanks for the help so far. will continue to trouble you some more.

Hopefully, because this is getting to be frustrating all around. (Wondering whether this is Gatekeeper getting too agressive?) So…

Wow Russ,

Finally the link you provided was helpful. I managed to download and install compressor.though in the purchase page it still shows an error comment.

my only problem now with the FCP is that before i could create file for youtube without exiting FCP, now i have only send to compressor function. If i was not mistaken there was a Share button in FCP X, now with the update that option is missing.

Anyway, Russ, Thanks a ton for helping me out.

Well, that's a relief.

They changed the Share option in the update. It's now upper right above the TimeLine tool bar.

All problems solved. I was hasty in uninstalling compressor because i could not locate the share option. Now am back to my FCP and working hard. Thanks 🙂
