i let my ipdad completely loose power and didn't plug it in over the weekend. Now when charging with the cord and power adapter. I can't get my ipdad to wake or even respond. it doesn't even show the low charge / charging icon. is there something I a missing. i have let it connected for over 20 mintues and still no response.
Please help.

Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

wow thank you, i tried this before but guess i didn' wait long enough (the full 10 minutes) i am back up and running now.

i mean seconds not mintues
It would also depend upon when you tried it - if the iPad's battery was completely empty then it can take up to about 15 minutes of charging before it will respond.
My ipad is not taking a charge at all.
