Iphone 4S wont connect to wifi since updating to iOS 6.0.1, can anyone help?

HELP?! my iphone 4S wont let me turn my wifi on since updating to iOS 6.0.1?

i have tried clearing history and cookie and data, re-booting my phone, resetting my network setting and still nothing? as i go to the wifi tab it wont even let me turn my wifi on, so i can not try changing it to auto

also i have no signal as i am on 3 so i can not currently use my phone till the wifi is working again and this is driving me mad!

can anyone help?

chrisfromgastonia- yeah I have tried this and I have loads of space left it just keeps saying not enough back up storage?

Well, just make sure that you back it up in itunes.

Only loads the things you had on your phone up to the last backup. So just right click on your phones name to the left in itunes, then click restore from backup.

chrisfromgastonia- I am restoring my phone now and when I clicked restore i pressed back up so does that mean everything will be saved? as need my numbers for doctors and for my daughter? and have important messages that need to be saved

From back up? Have you checked your phone to make sure your stuff is there?

chrisfromgastonia- I have restored it then when it was finished I didnt touch anything else and have not turn phone on and off yet as not sure if I had to, and all my stuff is still there after retsoring finishes is there anything else you need to do?
