Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
When I try to transfer a video from iPhone to Mac it gives me this error code (com.apple.ImageCaptureCore error 28.) It only happens when I try to transfer a 1.9GB video
iPhone 5, iOS 6.0.1
Does this involve iPhoto in some way? If not I'd try ask that on an iPhone or Mac OS X forum.

Why? This is an iPhoto forum...
How are you trying to transfer it? Which applicaiton on the Mac are you using? How are you connecting the iPhone to the Mac? If you're using iPhoto what version of iPhoto is it and what system are you using?

I'm using preview/import pics from iPhone
Did you try to reboot your Mac? Sometimes brute force seems to help, see this post: com.apple.ImageCaptureCore error 28
Instead of using Preview use Image Capture and upload the large video file to the Desktop first. Then import into iPhoto.
Same problem except it says "An error occured while importing. The item ‘IMG_1627.MOV” was not imported."
Have you tried connedting the iPhone to your Mac via USB and use iTunes go transfer the movie file? I'd also ask in the iPhone forum or possibly the iTunes forum.
