How do I turn off iCloud mail's spam filter?

Less than 40% of the spam caught by the iCloud spam filter is actually spam. That's worse than useless! I use SpamSieve on my Mac, so I don't need iCloud to do any filtering, but I haven't found a way to turn it off.

I cannot believe that this thread is so short. This is a huge problem with iCloud spam filtering.

The Mac Mail app and iCloud mail on the web site should sync together.

It is bad enough that I need to log into iCloud mail with my browser to mark mail as Not Junk, but that is only a temporary fix.

A few weeks go by and iCloud forgets that I marked it that way.

It even puts test emails that I send to myself in the Junk folder.

I chatted with Apple Support and they were no help..

I am getting very tired of this bug. I have turned off the junk filter and I still get hundreds of emails sent to the junk file. I know they are not junk because many are valuable. I used to not look at the junk file as it was a good sorter of bad emails. I finally looked at it when I was missing some important emails that used to come into my regular email account. I know have to go to the Junk file and transfer all of the emails in the file to my regular email. What did Apple do to make this happen? Apple, fix it and tell us when you fixed it.

Agreed— iCloud spam filtering is spotty at best but sadly there's no global switch to turn it off. This workaround might work for you: create a rule that moves filtered messages back to your inbox. It only works on a Mac, but as soon as the rule activates on the Mac it will move the message on all other devices (i.e. iPhones and iPads).

I use a very nice spam Mail set of scripted tools called SpamSieve that uses client-side scripting in Mail to Baesyan filter incoming mail and requires turning off server side filtering. So far, I have found a way to turn off all my account's server side filters, except iCloud. You might want to have a look at Michael Tsai's program. It works on a Mac with several apps for email, including Mail.app.
