Animating Parameters in Grapher
I cannot figure out how to animate a parameter in Grapher. All it says in help is:
Select a parameter definition in the Equations list, and choose Equation > Animate Parameter.
Click the Settings button to choose the minimum and maximum value for the parameter, the number of steps between the minimum and maximum, and the speed of the animation.
Click the Play button to preview the animation.
Click the Create Movie button to create a QuickTime movie of the animation. Then choose File > Save to save that animation to disk.
Which does me no good whatsoever, as 1, I'm not sure what it means by "Select a parameter definition in the Equations list", and 2, I've tried every way I can think of to select an equation. But regardless of what I do, when I attempt to click Equation>Animate Parameter, Animate Parameter is greyed out, and I get nowhere. Is there something I'm missing? Is there a work around?
