You've tried a reset to see if that fixes it ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
If that doesn't fix it then you could try restoring to your last backup.
Otherwise, accidental damage isn't covered by the warranty, unless you have AppleCare+ in the US which covers two cases of damage for an excess of (I think) $49. If you don't have AppleCare+ then in the US the cost of repair (i.e. replacement) for the iPad 2 is (from here) $249
Note that the Apple store will replace the iPad if you decide you want to pay that amount - so you should copy any purchases off it to your computer's iTunes first (File > Transfer Purchases), and then force a backup of the iPad by right-clicking the iPad 'Device' on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes and selecting 'Backup'. You should then be able to restore that backup onto the replacement
How long since you brought the device?
1.5 years.
You can, but you have to pay. Which country are you in? I can check if you have got a Apple Store.

Thanks. I live in the USA. I will bring it to the nearest apple store. Any idea how much it will cost? Rough estimate?
As KingPenguin said, it costs $249.
You are the KING!! The reboot was successful and sound now works. I just can't control it using the side buttons, but that is a small price to pay compared to $249. Thanks and happy holidays.
