I have a big problem of frequent shutdown on my power mac

Hallo to everyone.

I have this problem of shutdwon of my power mac that often happens during an internet session.

ANother crazy thing is that soemtimes it sends to my two monitors not both of the wallpapers but only one.

Can someone help me?

Go back to bare wood and start from scratch.


Doubt everything.

Trust no one.


That is why a clean OS - buy a new hard drive or find one you like and can use and trust.


And then watch what.


Safari etc doesn't craaap out or mess up on normal systems.

3rd party plug ins and extensions or even a bad setup or corrupt pref or cache.


Quicker and more reliable.


Stop looking for the needle in that haystack.

I've always wanted graphic drivers to be more independent, and for the OS to operate in basic VGA without, and not rely on EFI for early boot would be nice.


Want 5770 but don't want to run 10.6.5 ? or you don't HAVE any DVD other than 10.6.3 and earlier... out of luck.
