ipad mini vs ipod touch

I'd go with the iPad Mini

Bigger screen and more capabilities on the iPad mini. I'd also go with the mini.

Depends on what you want them tom do. Obvosouly the larger screen on the iPad mini works better for games, and videos and such.

The iPod touch is more akin to a cellphone without the ability to place calls.

While the iPad mini is a full fledged tablet.

I'd say the mini would work better, though it will also be slightly more expensive.

What are the things that a fledge tablet can do and an iPod touch cannot do? Can you give me some examples?

They pretty much have the same capabilities. (beyond some differences in the specs that most won't even notice)

but there will be some HD apps that will only work on the iPad.

All in all, the biggest difference between the mini and touch is screen real estate.

I have both. Each has it's strengths. The larger screen is nice but the smaller device to fit the pocket is very conventent. It depends on your needs. If it were not for my over 40 year old eyes it would be the iPod Touch unquestionably.

Basically it will do what the iPod touch does only better. You wouldn't want to watch a 2 houir movie on an iPod. But watching it on an iPad Mini is definitely a better experience.

With bigger screen, opening websites is much more natural, and convenient. As is doing many more tasks.

Many Applicatiosn have more features for the tablet versions than the iPhone/iPod versions.

There are many things the iPad is better at than the iPod.
