I have the old white iBook G4 power PC. I have no clue what power PC means, but I don't like it. I can't download/update anything.
I can't update Flash player, iTunes, get Photoshop, Firefox, AIM, I can't get any of that. My Mac is running on Snow Leopard, I think? But I was wondering if I could have it run on the new Lion, without a disk or something. I don't have the money to buy a whole CD for it. Everytime I try and download older versions, it still won't let me!

iPod touch (4th generation), iOS 6.0.1, iTunes, iBook G4

It can't be upgraded past Leopard 10.5.8 or run any software which is listed as requiring Mac OS X 10.6 or an Intel Mac.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities

PowerPC is a processor architecture. OS X Mountain Lion doesn't support PowerPC-based computers, so you can only upgrade to Mac OS X Leopard. If you've this OS X version and you can't install those programs, buy a new computer

Power PC means it is not Intel

Unfortunately you will not be able to upgrade your system further.

The only way forward is to replace this computer or use it as it is.
