Cannot open CD or DVD drive: F12 and Option+F12 do not work anymore
I have a G4 MDD 2003 with a combo drive and a "superdrive" that I added myself. Everything works. But recently, the keyboard commands that used to open these drives do not work anymore. I am using Tiger.
Note again that both drives are working. I know because I can open the doors manually and hit the button on the front of each drive with my finger. They open, I can mount discs, and I can burn discs.
When I try to use the keyboard commands, nothing happens and I don't even see the transparent Eject symbol on the screen.
