TV shows showing the same artwork for all seasons

Just wanted to throw my hat in the ring. I'm experiencing the same issue. No solution that I know of yet...

Noticed this as well, if not a setting somewhere, I would like to see this added in a future release.

I have noticed the same. Seasons in general seem bugged, since I am also noticing that when I actually watch a TV episode from a season, when iTunes finishes the episode, it is listing episodes from Season 1 again instead of the season I was viewing episodes from.

Mine does the exact same thing, and it bugs the heck out of me. I absolutely hate that it takes me back to season 1. It is annoying! There needs to be a fix to this.

I'm in the same boat... wishing for the artwork to change when I switch between the seasons.

Same here. Can see the different season artwork on device via AirPlay but no way of viewing in iTunes ?

Throwing my hat in this pot too. such a shame because I can see what Apple is trying to do, and I can see where this organisation will come in for say Apple TV ect. but delaying the release of 11 to get things right then messing this little thing up reaks of Scott 'maps' Forstall.

I have the same problem. And it anoyes the **** out of me.

The idea of combining the shows is a great one, and gives a lot better overview. But the art work need to change when selecting other seasons.

Perhaps it could be an idea to select a cover for a show the same way it is done in iPhoto.

Forgot to mention, if you go to edit the TV shows you will find the media type is "music" instead of TV shows. If you try to change it you will find you can't. This may be part of the problem ?

All my shows have TV Show in media kind, so I'm not sure if that is the issue.

I thinks its a genuine bug as when selecting a series then individually selecting the Season you want the cover art jumps as though iTunes is selecting the art.

I am having this issue too. Extremely annoying. Must be a bug with version 11. Hope they fix soon.

The only solution / workaround that I have found is to select all episodes for a particular season, get info (command + I), click the "video" tab and in the "show" field enter the Show's name then "Season 1" after the name (2, 3, 4 etc). Click OK.

That will separate the seasons and also have the correct artwork. If you look in your movies folder in the finder you will see the correct artwork is there but iTunes for some reason displays the same artwork for all seasons version 11. Agreed it needs to be addressed by Apple.

I am guessing this is not a bug but this way by design. Not a nice design IMHO, but I do not see why they elected to show the coverart for Season 1 as a represenative for all the seasons.
