Spilled dr pepper

So I spilled dr. pepper and I kept the Mac off for about 5days to make sure it dries out. Now when I turn it on, it stays on for 5mins and then it shuts down completely. My warranty expired 3 months ago and I also had to change my hard drive a month ago. How does apple help me with this?

I am an apple customer and use many of their products. I take care of all of them. I was dissapointed the most because apple completely disregarded the fact that I changed my harddrive one month after the warranty had expired. Within the year of warranty no damage occured to the mac. Then why couldn't they be more flexible then? Don't get me wrong, I LOVE APPLE, it's just their inflexiblityy in policies that i do not like

However, good news, after being on the phone with the customer relations, I was told that apple will make an exception this one time only based on my appole purchase history. They will pay for the parts repair only!

My faith in apple is back 🙂 thank you Apple customer relations!
