Podpress and iTunes

Possibly your feed filename is derived from the podcast title: some podcast creation programs do that. Your only way forward in that case would be to change it back. If the feed filename has changed then obviously iTunes won't know where to look for it and if you leave it this state long enough your podcast will be removed from the Store.

which is a web page, not a feed, containing simply a list of episodes: when subscribing in iTunes it just shows up empty.

is your feed: this works and can be subscribed to manually in iTunes. The title is 'Straight Street Orlando'. This is what you should submit to the iTunes Store.

You have an 'itunes:subtitle" and an 'itunes:summary' tag for the podcast itself, but not for individual episodes. Your server does appear to handle byte-range requests.

I hadd assumed from your talking about sumbitting that you didn't yet have your podcast up in the Store. In fact you have an iTunes Store page at

which shows your episodes. However it is looking for a feed at the URL you first posted, and consequently when subscribing no episodes show.

You need to get the feed back to this URL properly: if you leave it like it is no changes will appear in the Store and eventually you will probably find your podcast removed. If you can't manage to restore a proper feed at that URL you should email them at podcasts 'at' apple.com and ask them to move the Store to using

http://www.ymctest.info/straightstorlando/feed/rss/

Once done you should leave it alone and continue to update that feed.

I'm sorry, but I just don't have the knowledge to answer that question. At present you need to get the iTunes Store and a working feed matched up; the easiest way would be to get back to using the original URL, but otherwise you will need to email them as I indicated. If you are sure you have a working feed in Feedburner you could move to that, but you really need to be certain it's OK or you will just be digging yourself into a hole.
