I notice the new iTuness 11 keeps a count on the movies in the cloud. The problem is that not all of my movies in the cloud are on this list.
If I check on the AppleTV under purchased movies I see all of them there, but iTunes only shows about half of them.
Also is there an option to hide iCloud movies as well?
I just downloaded a digial copy off itunes onto my computer but it doesn't show up in my purchases in the store, in the icloud, but it is on my computer, so how can I get it on the cloud and why isn't it there?
iTunes > Preferences > Store, and put a cjeck mark on "Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases".
I did that and I'm still missing 13 out of 55 digital copy movies that are on my computer that are still not showing up in the purchased section in the iCloud, is there a way to manually put them in there?
in iTunes click on the iTunes Store button top right, then click on "Purchased" under quicklinks on the right and see if your purchased movie appear there.
Only some are there not all of them
Then they were purchased under a different account name than the one you are logged in as.
No all of the 13 missing movies are under my name, and I just added one digital copy in today and its not showing under purchased in the cloud but is my library in my iTunes
Same for me. I see only one movie from about 10 I purchased 😐
Check one of the movies or digital copies you purchased that you aren't seeing available in iCloud. I know, at least in the past, there were some movies that said somewhere on the left I think (under the purchase buttons) that "This movie will not be available in iCloud" or something to that effect.
And from the iTunes section of the iCloud page on apple.com
Downloading previous movie purchases requires iTunes 10.6 or later, iOS 5 or later, or Apple TV software 4.3 or later. Not all previously purchased movies are available for downloading to your other devices.

Thanks. This is what solved my original issue (movies/TV not showing up on my MacBook Air).
For those of you who had the issue where in iTunes list view you could see all of your movies, but in icon view you couldn't, I had to go into the info of each movie in list view and in "options" select "Movie" in the drop down. All of my movies were in "Home Video" for some reason.
