where is the power search?

The categories may show up, but it's not sortable and filterable. What a crock.

I think I actually found the old power search. Just type any old thing into the new search at the top right. This will take you to a screen where you can filter results by media type BUT which ALSO has a link to Power Search at the top left! When you click that you can search by title or artist. Hope this helps everyone.

I am using iTunes 10.1.2.17 -- don't know if it works on newer versions. If not, what a great reason not to upgrade!

Well, if you like having Power Search available and you see an invite to upgrade to Itunes 11.0.1, the correct answer is NO THANKS.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that it's gone from 11--that's awful. I tend to always say NO to upgrades because it's just a worse version, and with lots of bloat annd useless stuff added. Glad I haven't upgraded!

(they have really turned iTunes into a teeny-bopper paradise--not what other customers want)
