Q: Can't print cd jewel case insert

Just updated to Itunes 11. Now can't print cd jewel case insert without overlay of black symbols over list of songs. I use this function alot. What should I do? Considering trying to return to previous version.

You are right.  No joy.  No workaround. Jumbled and wait for the update.  Hope they're paying attention.

I too am unable to print a jewel case using iTunes 11. When I attempt to print a cover, all of the songs print on top of each other and so I get an unreadable mess. This is just one of the many problems that I have experienced with version 11. I sincerely wish that I had never upgraded to this new version.

I'm really surprised by all of this because I have used iTunes since 2003 and it has always worked flawlessly until this version 11 came out. I'm totally frustrated.

I agree! I have stopped buying from this source - and I did spend quite a bit per month. The delay in getting this problem fixed is shameful in that 'they' don't seem to care! If it were a general product, I would have taken it back to the supplier!

    i-Tunes Friends,

I have again traded e-mails with the Analyst working on my case regarding this issue.  His response is that he has not heard anything from the engineering support group in some time.  When he does, he will respond to me with any updated infromation from that group.  In other words, there's nothing HE / YOU / WE can do but wait!!  I am so disgusted with Apple at this time that I will not purchase any further music from them.  It appears that there are less than 100 customers that have expressed their problem on this discussion board, therefore, Apple will ignore the problem and let it be repaired in the next software download..whenever that may be.

Apparently, Apple needs to bring their next i-Phone / i-Device to market so that SAMSUNG doesn't eat their lunch is more important!!  Furthermore, the SAMSUNG GALAXY 4 phone is looking better to me every doay, now that it's time to purchase a new phone!!!  I've been an i-Phone user since it's inseption but I think it's time to move to SAMSUNG!!!  I am also a long time i-TUNES MEGA MUSIC PURCHASER but like other customers have expressed here, I think it's time to find another source to purchase music.

    RickBridges,

Thanks for the update. I keep checking daily for an update and checking this discussion.

It would just be nice or easier for us users if we could go back to 10 without losing our libraries and get away from this on going debacle. I have never had this problem with any of the updates. How disastrous could Apple be to create this problem again after THEY FIXED IT!

I agree! In 9 yrs. of using iTunes, I never had a single problem until the release of 11.

Steve Jobs was all about customer service and customer satisfaction. He felt that if you take care of the customer, the customer will keep coming back for your products.

So far, it would seem that the Tim Cook version of Apple has placed customer service and customer satisfaction on the back burner.

I for one intend to stop using iTunes if a fix for all of the problems in 11 don't come online soon.

I cannot believe that this problem has not been fixed yet.  I did see where it appears to be only happening on Windows 7.  Is that true for anyone else?  Does anyone know if we move to another music service do we lose all that we have purchased on ITunes?  It appears this message board is simply a place for us to complain and Apple doesn't even look at it.  If they did we should have seen some UPDATE by now!!

I have been with ITunes for a couple of years with no problems until last November 2012 when release 11 came out.  They fixed that in a month or so and then another release came out sending back to the old printing jewel case problem.

Any suggestions on other music services to use?  Or is Apple the only one in town and that is why they could care less about customer service!   Thanks for letting me get out my frustrations.

It also malfunctions on Windows 8.  Apple's response that "It only happens on Windows" is hilarious, since that's like saying "It malfunctions on most computers."

Contained in this HP forum is a workaround that may work for some. http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Other-Printing-Questions/itunes-won-t-print/td-p/46 4821

    May be worth a try.

I just recently upgraded to the new version of iTunes, and it s u c k s, for many reasons. But the most recent thing that s u c k s about it is this situation- not being able to print CD song listings because all the songs are printed on top of each other. Hey Apple- this is still an issue, it's YOUR mistake, and it needs to be fixed.

I note that the discussion revolves around Win 7 and Win 8. I have a client with the same issue in Win XP (Home edition).

Updating iTunes seems to be the course of action.
