FIX ! SOLUTION.

i check the song that i want to add to the itunes, however the size of that song is 0 bytes. its mean i not download the song completely. i try another player, same, can't play that song. as example, i download song from youtube using keepvid.com. convert to mp3, i click download, bomb! done, no downloading bar at all. then, when i try to play it, fail, 0 bytes size file. so...

- Download the song correctly, completely ! check the size of it. if 0 bytes, means fail. if Okay, then add to itunes. Problem Solved !!! work for me

HI, late to this discussion but I had the problem of recently added albums etc not syncing to my iPod. This was driving me nuts but went into advanced settings where you tell iTunes which folder to look in. By default it wants to look in C Music but I moved my music to G drive as it was much bigger.

I had pointed itunes to my G drive but it wasn't synching even though tunes were appearing in recently added

I just reset where iTunes looks - I've hit the reset button - then pointed it back to my G drive and hey presto - happy days

Hope this helps

this works for me.... i guess many people can't add some particular files, may be not all files

for my case, the mp3 files are actually some 'podcast' type files instead of 'music' type files for itunes, so itunes can never add the mp3 files into the music library, itunes just simply doesn't recognize the files as 'music' files!!

i only found one way to edit the 'media kind' which is in itunes

1. open the file with itunes in windows explorer (it can be done but the file won't showed up in the library only)

2. add the file into a playlist

3. go to the playlist

4. right click and 'Get info'

5. go to 'option' and you should find 'media kind'

6. if it is not 'music', change it to music

7. the file should automatically show up in your library

Good luck
