iTunes 11 Playback via AppleTV drops during Video streaming.

If I am streaming a movie (no matter rented or bought) from my iMac (iTunes 11) via my AppleTV (3rd Generation, latest update) the playback drops after the iMac falls asleep.

It's really annoying to stand up after a while and press space bar to keep the iMac awake.

Well said podkraft. I am at my wits end with these crappy updates. I cannot figure out if it is iTunes, Mountain Goat or Apple TV updates that are causing this nonsense, but I know that the iTunes 11.0.1 update certainly hasn't fixed anything for me.

My Apple TV 2 persistently fails to find the Network and I have to find it again in the Apple TV settings. iTunes seems to fall asleep and has to be shut down and re-opened and my Airport Express occasionally doesn't connect. The entire thing is a complete and unacceptable mess. If Apple can't get their act together with this soon, I am going over to Android. I haven't got time for this level of incompitence.

Yep... Apple have really dropped the ball. My Apple TV keeps getting dropped leaving me with the message that I need to turn on home sharing.

I'm getting thoroughly ****** off with the Apple mentality of constantly "upgrading" systems... So often these days it's a retrograde step. If it continues much longer, I'll fly across to the States and kick every ****** I see coming out of their HQ in the arse. This level of incompetence doesn't fit with the premiums we pay for their products (which are rapidly falling back behind their competitors..). Getting fed up wit this Apple, buck up!
