While using Safari, MSN or MSNBC videos won't play ...the following appears

This product requires Microsoft© Internet Explorer 6, Microsoft© Media Player 10, and Macromedia Flash 7. To download these free software applications, click the links below and follow the on-screen instructions.

The "links below" are not visible. The Media Player for a Mac is 9..I have installed Flip 4 Mac.

MSN and MSNBC are using proprietary Windows Media 10 formatting and/or ActiveX which requires the use of Windows, WMP/Win 10, and IE/Win 6. They are blocking out all non-Windows users and all users of alternate Windows browsers such as Firefox and Opera. WMP 10 DRM will never be available for non-Windows platforms according to Microsoft and so far ActiveX has never been available for anything other than IE/Win (although if you find early press releases it was supposed to be available in Netscape).

You can complain to the webmasters, but my feeling is that there are enough sources for the kinds of things I want that if a site won't play on a Mac, I move on and don't return.
