FCE-HD export settings for slideshow

Hey dear specialists,

I need to have a help for the export settings for a slideshow

I am using FCE-HD 4.01 on either MacBookPro with Mountain Lion or on my old G5 with 10.6

Input are slides in JPEG with 15MByte Pixel.

As soon as I am using transition of a picture the result in export in all setting I can choose from FCE, which I found out is very bad, because picture has the interlacing effects at the borders

What can I change to get a good result

Thanks in advance for the feedbacks

Best regards

FJ

Hey Russ,

fully convinced about support from APPLE. Great

System is fully back. APERTURE3, PS CS4, FCE is working back in my environment. ( uff >>> happy again)

Now back to our chat

YOU have been fantastic help for me.

Your hints about sequence setting and the simple description has really helped me and solved the problem

There is still a bit of a jitter in the picture, when rotating it during a transition. I need to figure out best resolution and speed.

Overall result is still behind the software FOTOMAGICO, but FCE has the fantastic feature to have completely independend video and audio tracks, which I need for my slide shows.

And this feature I heart is also not anymore in FCP x. I will test it after Christmas, but do not think that I will invest into it.

My dear friend again very much thanks you have helped me a lot

Best regards

FJ
