after i installed Mountain Lion this horrible black bracket is aroiund the cursor and its driving me nuts. I cant see any disable for it.. please please make it go away!

I can see no way of changing the cursor at all. It's an arrow with a 1 inch by 1 1/4 inch had lined black rectangle the cursor drags everywhere. I have been through every icon in the Systems Preferences looking for a way to get rid of it, and I wish to heaven we could also shut off Dashboard!
Please check System Preferences>Accessibility>VoiceOver> Turn off Voice over
