Outgoing mail stuck in outbox

I have several email accounts. Some gmail. Some yahoo.

For some reason, for some email accounts, my outgoing mail gets stuck in the outbox. I get the following message:

Cannot Send Mail

The connection to the outgoing server

"apple.smtp.mail.yahoo.com" failed. Additional Outgoing Mail Servers can be configured in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.

Not sure why all of the sudden this happens.

I went and checked the email account settings. I even deleted the email account and added it again.

I am running iOS6.

Not sure what else to try.

Hello everybody!!! i do know that its a while from your questions BUT!!!! I FINALLY FIND WHAT WAS THE PROBLEM!!!!

To begin with, my problem came out with the last update of the iOS 9.0.2, and out all of sudden i couldn't sent, receive e-mail or refresh my yahoo account , g mail, ''other'' mail and even i cloud account, from the iPhone mail application. Yahoo mail app worked perfect. The only one which worked were the hotmail account, for some reason. When i was trying to refresh, a message of <<''Cannot Get Mail'' The connection to the server failed''>> appeared. And when i was trying to sent a email : <<''Cannot Sent Mail'' The connection to the outgoing server ''apple.smtp.mail.yahoo.com failed. Additional Outgoing Mail Servers can be configured in Setting>Mail,Contacts,Calendar.>>

After, restarting my iphone 5s many times, deleting and adding my accounts several time, calling my carrier, trying to reach apple support center (where i discover that there is no support center for GREECE!!! OMG) and reading many references of apple customers, i suspect that something went wrong with the Cellular Setting because when i where connected to a WiFi there where no problem!

THE SOLUTION!!!

Settings> Mobile Data > and turn on (like the photo) the USE MOBILE DATA FOR: Mail

So easyUser uploaded file
