I cant add music to my iphone in iTunes 11

I am still struggling to copy the songs from my mac to iPhone. Tried all ways and still in vain. Phew!

Copied the songs from desktop to music folder. Dragged it to iTunes. Connected my iPhone. Tried dragging the songs from iTunes library to iPhone and not working. Created playlist and tried Add To iPhone and still not working. I am exhausted. Can anyone help.

I don't understand why it's so complicate to add songs. I wish we can add songs directly from Cloud to my iPhone in near future.

I was having this exact problem. What you have to do is go onto your phone, under the Music section of Settings, and find where it says iCloud Library. Disable that, then refresh iTunes on your computer. Then it should let you import music like you used to. Worked for me, hopefully it will work for you!

Hey guys so the best way to fix this issue is to go onto itunes, click on the phone logo which is at the top underneath the volume controls.

Scroll down and then under options, click manually control music and videos.

I've been trying for a few days to upload a song to my iPhone until finally discovering this "Manually manage" checkbox.

If it's not checked, clicking "Add to device" silently fails with no clues whatsoever.

This is the first time I'm buying an Apple product and I'm extremely frustrated with it and it's mostly because of iTunes which is an unbelievable piece of sh*t.

Not to mention I cannot even use it properly because there's no version for Linux. Maybe Apple's thinking that with tricks like that they'll make me buy a Mac. This is the last time I'm buying an Apple product.

itunes is THE WORST. The entire Apple "eco-system" is less intuitive than the worst Microsoft UI from 25 years ago

I dont see that option when i right click anymore can u tell how to get i back?
