So what I want to do is essentially load a bunch of images, one after another, in an accelerating fashion (the delay between the first two pictures would be greater than the delay between the last two pictures). Total duration would be, 15 seconds.

Replicate? I might further enhance the motion by causing the images to fill in the background in a circular pattern that works its way inward.

Thanks in advance!

I hesitate to get too deep into this, 'cause it's pushing my own boundries, but, that caveat in place, I think you would attack this problem by turning your collection of images into an image sequence, and then apply the replicator to the image sequence. You can then muck about with the Sequence Replicator behavior. For more fantasticale effects, take a look at the Fun with a Photo thread here:

The thread contains some great information on playing with image sequences & the replicator.

Hope this helps.

okay, I think I know what your suggesting, but how do I get each image to be different? I basically have a bunch of the same images flashing on the screen.

During one of the "learning center videos", :goes to get link: this one, in the first 10 seconds, they show different images (videos) emanating from the center.

I am essentially trying to do that.

Wow and double wow.

By leaving play frames checked, checking random frame and having a hold frame of 2 I achieved a nice look.

Thanks a bunch. I was having the hardest time just getting started.

It is funny because when I started this thread I was thinking "Patrick will have an answer before I am done posting". But then it took you two days to post! I was actually worried. 🙂

And thanks to longstrider who technically solved my dilemma.

Thanks, though - technically - it was Patrick who solved your problem, as I wouldn't have had a clue without glomming ideas from the collective wisom of this group, Patrick being chief among the brain trust. Figure the only way I can repay is to help out when possible and leave the real heavy lifting to the pros.

Cheers

I thought about that but this is my "thought process".

Patrick apparently eats and breaths this stuff and his project was for "fun".

You had the know how (first) to tell me where to find the information. Remember, you don't have to know everything you jut have to know where to find it.

You solved my problem by pointing me in the right direction. Patrick was "helpful" in this area because he kept prodding me along.

thanks again.
