Where is Cover Flow?

I do not think the version matters, I recently had a hard drive die, when I replaced it I thought perfect time to go back and downloaded iTunes 10.6.3.25 from http://www.oldversion.com/windows/itunes-10-6-64-bit. Cover flow is back but my iPhone 5 will not connect to it. That I can live with. all my songs in the cloud appeared in this version.Then I turned off check for updates in Edit >Preferences >General.

There is an app in the store called "Album flow pro".

This app works fine with IOS7.

I would have liked to stay with 10.6 on my Mac but today it would no longer allow me to purchase music (I guess I could have bought from Amazon and just used iTunes as a player). Apple apple apple -- get a grip!
