Dan 3g?
In the upper left hand corner, next to the signal strength indicator, where it once said ATT 3g, it now says Dan 3g! Even when I turn on the wifi it still says Dan. Someone help!

yeah im in central PA too.
I'm in central PA also. I had went to my local AT&T store, the man said he's never seen anything like this before. I even got the same answer whenever I called the tec support. He told me to reset my iPhone or possibly update. I currently have a 3GS, anyone else with the same model? My mother and sister have the iPhone and aren't expiering this problem. Just luck.
Ok, so it seems to be a regional issue-but I am on a 3GS in a home with 2 other iPhone 4's that are not experiencing this issue right now......?
I am also in Central PA getting the same "Dan" message where the AT&T usually is.

SO SO glad I am not the only one. I just checked my phone and I have been freaking out that I was hacked! I am in central Pennsylvania as well. Anyone have updates on whats going on? Is it safe to be keeping my phone on?

I'm from central PA (717), but I'm currently in Dallas, TX. It says Dan even down here.
Also from Central PA. My husband & I both have iphone 3. His is fine but mine says Dan too. Can't figure out why mine and not his.
I have a 4 and it says Dan but my sister has a 4S and hers is fine. Were from the Harrisburg Area.
I have an iPhone 4 with a 717 area code. Tried powering down- no change, tried syncing to my macbook with no change as well.
And I also have a 717 number. So apparently its just happening in this area. I am worried that someone is hacking us, possibly stealing information. I am turning my phone off now.
