All of my software is up to date, including the new iTunes, iPhoto 11, and Mac OSC 10.8.2. I cannot find how to sync my iPad with my iPhoto pictures. There is no "photo" tab. How can I transfer my photos from iPhoto to my iPad?

No fussing, folks! I appreciate all the responses. I do hope Apple fixes this issue. The photo tab is still invisible while all the other tabs are visible...makes no sense at all. However, one of the 1st responders solved the issue. By clicking on the iPad tab, the photo tab then pops up. But you have to click in just the right spot or the entire tab disappears! Very frustrating, but I've found its "sweet spot". Maximizing the screen doesn't seem to solve the issue for me. Thank you for all your input! Peace out.
I have tried all the above fixes and my photos tab is completely unresponsive. All it says is iCloud photos is on and it does nothing when I click on the tap. Pleas help!
years later, but I'm having this issue now, have tried all the suggestions, and do not see the Photos tab anywhere. so irksome!
Can you help? I followed previous steps but it still does not show the photos tab

Are you trying to import pictures from your iphone to the computer, or from the computer to your iphone? The image you showed looks normal...
