Where are my apps in the new iTunes?

When upgrading iTunes yesterday, I noted in the fine print that they were moving apps and ringtones out of iTunes "to focus on music, movies, TV shows and podcasts". Apparently, the App Store no longer exists or is available in iTunes on the Mac or PC at all and, going forward, the new IOS App Store (v11, due out next week) will be the only place to browse, purchase and download apps. There was no mention of how to manage or upload ringtones to your phone now that they have been dropped from iTunes. I personally would create custom ringtones and upload them to my phone via iTunes, but that is no longer an option.
From Manually manage content on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch using iTunes - Apple Support:
Manually add items from your computer
If you have media on your computer that you can't redownload from the App Store or iTunes Store directly on your iOS device, such as custom ringtones or iOS apps, you can drag and drop the media from your computer to your iOS device using iTunes.

I had the same problem, very hard to find my apps in iTunes. I did Transfer Purchases and I wanted to see those apps listed, but even though I can see the Apps option under Library in the sidebar, when I click on it, it shows a blank page.
When I click on my phone icon beside the drop-down that was discussed earlier, then I click on Apps under the Settings section, it shows some screens on the right side (I have 2 screens and a bunch of groups), and above that it shows "38 apps", but it doesn't show me those 38 apps listed anywhere.
Apps no longer transfer from iPhone to computer.
You need to redownload them from the store using iTunes.
So what is the "Transfer Purchases" option doing then? I thought it transfers them to my computer. And why it shows "38 apps" in the top right corner above the listing of screens, but not actually listing those 38 apps?
I guess the Apps section of iTunes doesn't make much sense, maybe it should be taken out completely?
The apps option is no longer available with the update
thank you
Thanks for the tip!
You're welcome. 🙂

Apps are no longer listed - only music, movies, tv shows, and podcasts. Apps are no longer listed so how are we supposed to update them?
I read one article that said all updates now have to be done on the device (iphone, ipad, etc.).
If this is a change Apple made, I would have appreciated a "heads up" on this.
Found all the answers here. HTTPS://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201272#apps Good luck.
I don't remember having this problem back in 2012 but I do have it now and none of these answers are of any use
If you’ve just updated to iTunes 12.7 then the apps management pages in iTunes have been removed. Read my post near the top of this page.

If you cannot locate the app on one of the home screens or in a folder then try Settings > General > Storage and see if you cannot locate the app and delete it from there.
