iPhone SMS and data issue

I got a new iPhone 5, and when inside my house, I get a single bar of 4g. It have to hit the try again an average of 4 times for it to send. The same problem occours on 4 and 5 bars, but I notice that immediatley after it says Try Again I receive a text. I think the problem might be an incomeing text is preventing the outgoing one from sending. Also, when on 1 bar of 4G, the data connection appears not to work. The safari has the blue bar, but the wepage never loads and the blue bar never moves. Any help is greatly appreciated🙂

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings

Remove and reinstall the SIM.

Replace the SIM.

Contact the carrier to troubleshoot the network issues.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

Yes, I have a friend who is in a devils triangle between cell towers and lives in an older brick home with thick walls. She got a microcell and it solved her problem.

Thank you for the help! AT&T is unwilling to give me a free one, so I guess I have to pony up the cash. Everyone else who has the iPhone 5 loves it, and I hope with this I will be more in love with mine.
