Why do some of my emails have a trash can and some not?
How do I delete emails when there is no trash can?

How do I delete emails when there is no trash can?
iPad (3rd gen) Wi-Fi + Cellular (VZ), iOS 5.1.1
If you don't have a trashcan then I assume that it's a gmail account and that you have an archive icon instead ? If it is then you can change which icon appears for it by selecting the account in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and turning Archive on or off : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4207
