It cannot be the same issue that you stated in the post; that implies there might be some network issue though the reason can’t be for holding in your right hand or so since there’s no such issues been faced by anyone so far.
I would recommend you to perform the below given troubleshooting’s
- You can try resetting your network settings thru : setting - general - reset - reset network settings.
- can check for updates on carrier settings
- Check for a iOS update too or try simple inserting/removing the sim card
