My iMac is taking ages to go to sleep

Hello all,

I have a very annoying problem in that my iMac takes ages to go to sleep. It used to be instant but it now takes ages. I've no printer and I have reset pram and smc but all to no avail. 😕

Does anyone have any ideas?
