i dont know three network logged into my pc and sync iphone, transfer purchase and back up and restore, it came along top of itunes extracting somat and restore 72minutes, he then took my number as i was on my sons 3 phone, he rang my number back and said it had disconnected, he then moved arrows about my screen and got to same place again,he stayedonphone till last 10 mins or so assuming it was gonna do what he was doing and last minute or so disconnected again and said unable to complete download due to an internal error... ...it was rather late by then and id also been sick of the sight of the same thing again n again, but the guy on the phone said something about going to an apple store to do it if it failed again ...

i explained the spacebar was not working in an earlier reply and deggie keith doherty3 aswell as lawrence finch still managed to read my question inspite of the spacebar problem, if lawrence does not want to help then he doesnt have to, i dont feel there is any need for his rudeness, i merely asked a question rudeness was not part of the answer required...ill continue trying the unlock process anyway im sure ill do it someday

Leachstar - English may not be your first language however please refer to my earlier post: -

repeated here - with stress modified to refer to the registered user

If you have purchased the iPhone from someone else and you intend to use it on a differing network the ORIGINAL OWNER MUST DO THE UNLOCK as the phone iMEi number is tied to that account and network.

The system is the registered user contacts their Mobile operator confirms iMEI number and pays appropriate fee.

That Mobile operator submits the iMEi number to Apple.

Apple white list iMEi number on their iTunes server and confirms this back to Mobile operator.

The Mobile operator sends the registered user an sms/e-mail inviting them to sync phone via USB cable to their ITunes account.

Registered user follows on screen prompts (With registered sim onboard) until they see the “Congrat's .........” message

The registered sim can now be removed and replaced it with a sim from another supported network.

Caveat with some of the Virtual networks such as Giff-gaff /Virgin/Lebara/ BT/ Tesco etc........ you may have difficulty getting SMS/MMS to send due to the APN settings being wrong (They default to the actual network sighted).

Some of those Sims may give you access to a hidden menu feature that allows you to set the correct APN manually however others don't.

Those that don't may mean you only receive SMS/MMS messages.
