It's in the same location that it has always been.
Connect the device.
Select the device either from the sidebar (Cntrl + S to enable sidebar) or select from the drop down in the upper right.
Select the photo tab.
Select the folder desired to sync.
Sync.
There is NO PHOTOS tab!! It just isn't there. I am running iTunes v11.0.1.12 on Windows Vista. And since this new update, photos isn't showing up with my new ipad mini or my old iphone 4. And no tech support from Apple! They are closed!
This one solved it: Cntrl + S. Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When I do control + S, I see the sidebar. It has the library (no photos), then the store (no photos), devices (yes I see the iphone but no photos), Playlists (no photos)... where exactly is photos?? Please advise, I don't have it in my itunes.
If this is solved, blunderact, then why not share????????????????????
iTunes is NOT a photo management program. There is no photos option in iTunes.
iTunes can act as a conduit to sync photos from the computer to an iDevice.
Select the iDevice from the sidebar.
This will bring up a listing of tabs across the right hand side of the screen (as it has done in all previous versions) and one of the tabs will be photos.
When I view the tabs on any iDevice, there is no tab for photos; there used to be. I've been using iTunes for years! I just want to sync my photos with my idevice, not manage my photos.
The original poster stated (and it is my problem as well): "Where is the photo sync button with the new itunes update? So how do I sync my photos cuz can't find anywhere the word photos."
There is no photos button anywhere. This is with Windows Vista32. I do CTRL + S and nothing in the sidebar says photos (never seen it there anyways). Yes I see the iDevice but no photos tab in there!
Like I said in the last post: "nothing in the sidebar says photos (never seen it there anyways)."
I don't see Photos where you are pointing out! I've been using itunes for years and it's always been there as you pointed out. But now it is not there with the new itunes! Why can't people understand this??
With me, the problem was with the display resolution I was using. I have it set for 1024x768 because of my vision. Wth iTunes windowed or full screen, I get NO SCROLLBARS! When in a window, I dragged it over to the left, cutting off the left side of the window, then I pulled the right side of the window to make it wider. Then the Photos tab appears.
Issue resolved for me. Good luck.

Mindy,
Diesel has explained it.
Make sure that your view in Itunes is maximized to the fullest size possible. Unfortunately, when you are viewing Itunes in a smaller window, the "photos" tab at the top is invisible.
As explained before, wth iTunes windowed or full screen, I get NO SCROLLBARS. When in a window, I dragged it over to the left, cutting off the left side of the window, then I pulled the right side of the window to make it wider. Then the Photos tab appears.

I think you forgot to plug in your iDevice. Do this now. This is what I see after I plug in my iphone. I click once on "iphone".
This is what I see when I click on iphone. Notice books and photos are not showing up. They are missing regardless if it is full screen or in a window. Notice there are no scroll bars.
Now after I drag the window to the far left, moving quite a bit of the window off the screen, and expanding the window on the right, I can now see books and photos.
Hope that helps.

Mindy60, I am still having the issue of no photo button since Itunes upgrade to 11.0.1.12. Can you please provide more feedback as to what you did to solve your issue. I shrank my itunes window and then expanded the right side. However no photo button appeared.
Ctrl S to show the Sidebar on the left side of iTunes.
Then select your iDevice.
