Hi,
I know I am using a very old version of numbers (1.0.3), but recently when I email a document to PC users, the files can't be openned. Is this because the program is so old? Or is there some other reason this is happening? Any ideas?

Numbers is a program that only runs on a Mac or an iOS device, and at this point the only way to open a Numbers file for viewing and editing is to open it with the Numbers app. So, a PC user can not do anything useful with a Numbers file, no matter how old the program is that created it.
To Share with a PC user, File > Export the Numbers document to either PDF or Excel.

Thanks, Jerrold, I assumed when it says 'send windows friendly attachments' that it would... I've exported to excel now, so will see how that works. I never noticed that that was an option, so thank you!

The "Send Windows Friendly attachment" is an option in your email program NOT Numbers and has to do with the way line terminators and encoding are handled.
