whatI dont find is the outgoing server and incoming.
In addition, I have it on my iphone 4s set up and i try doing it the same way on my iMac and is not working.
Looks like your choices are WebMail in a Browser...

When trying to set it up on the Mac, for Account type did you try Exchange?
yes, I've tried exchange and this started to happen after i activate Snow leopard basically. and you said they got sued? meaning it wont work? 😟
I was just speaking to the fact that tey don't have a better eMail server than just web based or exchange. 😉
well, I guess I'm stuck and will have to visit my college website instead of receiving it in my "Mail" app in my iMac's dock.

Those options listed did not work. It should work with Exchange and webmail.jjay.cuny.edu but it is not working, I guess the school server is not working properly
I thought you had it working on your iPhone.
Try contacting the helpdesk as I advised earlier.
