I have recently upgraded my iPhone 4 OS to IOS6.0.1 since then I have lost navigation voice for my google maps app.
I have also noticed that the OS upgrade created an apple map without navigation voice. Any suggestions?

Do some research about the updates before you actually update. Google maps was replaced by Apple maps, turn by turn navigation is not available on the iPhone 4 with Apple Maps. I think you have it with the Google maps app which you can now download from the app store for free, no idea if it has a voice though, and the Original google maps on iPhone 4 never had turn by turn navigation, let alone with a voice
