the 'Photo Library' that is on my iphone 4 is from my previous iphone 3. I know how to sync, but no where on iphoto does the phones Photo Library appear. How do I access this?

Are you trying to transfer photos from your phone to iPhoto on your computer?
Or are you using iPhoto for iOS on your phone and can't see the photo albums visible in your Photos app?
First thing to try is a reboot of your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
Trying to access Photo Library to get these old pictures onto my computer. The folder doesn't appear anywhere I look thru iPhoto, Finder, iTunes, etc.
I've rebooted phone. This folder has never appeared. Wondering if due coming from iPhone 3, now on iPhone4 with recent Ver 6 upgrade.
I've even copied pix (individually since Apple can't figure out a Shift-Select function) into a new Album, but that album doesn't appear either. I've removed phone from computer and resynced with no success.
Any other suggestions greatly appreciated.

The pix are definitely on the phone, but can't seem to find any way to find that folder with the computer. Especially odd that the new Album i created on phone in Photos/Albums doesn't appear on computer anywhere either.
